Hidden Lake

Middle School Summer Camp
Hidden Lake

We are excited to be able to reach out to you with a summer camp opportunity that will kickstart and enliven the Catholic faith for your teen! Camp Hidden Lake is a LIFE TEEN Summer Camp run out of North Georgia. Check out: https://www.youtube.com/@LifeTeenSummerCamps and https://lifeteen.com/camps/camp-hidden-lake/ to see the space/location for camp.

This year we will be teaming up and traveling to/from camp with St. Ann in Gulf Breeze to be able to provide this opportunity for our teens. Hidden Lake dates for this summer are May 27th - June 1st, 2024 (we will depart from St. Ann around 5am on the 27th and return around 9pm on the 1st, more info and orientation/packing list sent later).

The total amount for camp is $750 per youth. The cost covers the base Hidden Lake and allows our chaperones to attend. We currently have two interested chaperones from among our faith formation team on Wednesday evenings that will travel and lead our group. We will share their names/information once they have confirmed their calendars/participation.

Hidden Lake is open to all incoming 6th - incoming 9th graders. That being said - it is most ideal for those who are incoming 7th-outgoing 8th graders due to the nature of it being an away camp, the individual teen's level of maturity and readiness. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, we are happy to provide more details to help you make a decision that is best for your family.

Fundraising Suggestions + Scholarship Opportunities

  • We encourage families to pull their own resources and encourage middle school youth to write letters directly to grandparents, aunts/uncles, godparents, etc. if desired. This gives the teen ownership of their experience and helps them to put into words why this experience would be important to them. We have a template for your teen to use, if desired.

  • A limited number of partial/full scholarship opportunities are available through the parish. Scholarship applications are due by April 17. Please reach out as soon as possible if a scholarship application is desired.

Thank you for considering this opportunity for your teen!!!
